Ayurveda

What is it?

ah-yur-VEY-dah

In a nutshell, it means life science.

But it’s not the kind of science that relies on the scientific method.

Makes you want to call it pseudo-science, right? Fine. I get it. And, for the most part, I agree.

But consider that the part of science that skeptics and scientists like ourselves rely on and respect is the repetition and peer review.

In Ayurveda, the sample size is huge. The longevity of this discipline is centuries.

Ayurveda is a system of health care that recognizes the importance of every individual’s life purpose and goals with a focus on daily routine and diet.

Why is it important?

Because you wonder what your life would be like if you were to live more in line with your true nature. And you wonder what that nature is. And what does that even mean? How do you identify your nature and study it in a systematic way, other than what you were taught in Biology?

I see your curiosity. I recognize your desire to know.
